Jobs Archive Link Elementor Widget

The Jobs Archive Link widget is designed to provide an easy way to display a link to your job board page on your WordPress site using Matador Jobs. Depending on your Matador settings, this link can direct users either to the job listings archive or to a specific page designated as your job board. The widget is simple yet flexible, allowing you to customize the link text and HTML structure to fit your site’s design and user experience needs.

Content Settings

This setting allows you to customize the text displayed for the link. By default, the link text is set to “All Jobs,” but you can modify this to better suit your site’s language and branding. For example, you might change it to “View All Open Positions” or “Explore Careers” depending on the tone and purpose of your job board.

The widget outputs a standard anchor (a) tag by default. However, if you want to modify the HTML structure for styling or accessibility purposes, this setting allows you to wrap the anchor tag in additional tags:

  • Span: Wrapping the link in a span tag can help with inline styling or when you want to apply specific styles that are easier to control with a span.
  • Button: Wrapping the link in a button tag is useful if you want the link to resemble a button, which can improve user engagement or match the visual design of your site.

Style Settings

Fully Customizable Styles:
By default, the widget inherits styles from your WordPress theme, ensuring that the link blends seamlessly with the rest of your site. However, if the inherited styles do not meet your design requirements, you can fully customize the appearance of the Jobs Archive Link widget. This includes adjusting the font, color, padding, margins, and other CSS properties, allowing you to create a link that aligns perfectly with your site’s overall look and feel.

Use Cases

  1. Job Board Navigation:
Use the Jobs Archive Link widget on your homepage, sidebar, or footer to provide a direct link to your job listings archive. This helps visitors easily find and explore the available job opportunities on your site.
  2. Prominent Call-to-Action:
Place the widget in a high-visibility area, such as at the end of a blog post or in a landing page section, to encourage users to visit your job board. Customize the link text and wrapper tags to make it stand out as a call-to-action button.

Custom Page Links:
If you have a custom page designated as your job board (rather than using the standard archive), this widget ensures that users are directed to the correct location. Customize the link text to reflect the unique value of that page, such as “Explore Our Career Opportunities.”
