Matador Jobs Pro comes with optimizations that make it largely ready to use with popular multi-language plugins that read wpml-confix.xml files, including WPML.
While Matador Jobs Pro contains WPML optimizations, please know that in general mutli-language websites are incredibly difficult to set up. Please be prepared for some trial and error.
When using multi-language plugins with Matador, follow this workflow:
- Configure your ML plugin to delete linked translations. In WPML, go to WPML Settings > Translation Management > Multilingual Content Setup and turn on “When deleting a post, delete translations as well”.
- Import the jobs from Bullhorn.
- Create translations for each job after they are imported. Do not edit the original job, only the translations.
