Job Relative Age Block

the Job Relative Age block is for displaying how long the job listing has existed for (its relative age). For example, when used on a job single template for a job created and posted 12 days ago it will display ’12 days ago’:

Using the Job Relative Age Block

On the Job Single

When using this block in the editor for the job single template, you’ll see some placeholder text rather than any actual job data. The value to display is calculated dynamically when the block is displayed on the front end.

Outside the Job Single

The Job Relative Age block relies on having access to job data, this means it must be used in a context where a specific job’s data is accessible. For use outside the job single, this means the Job Field block should be used within a Query Loop block, Matador Jobs List block or equivalent.

Settings

This block has no specific settings for now. Though future versions of Matador Jobs may change this fact!

Styling

To style this block use the style tab in the block’s settings sidebar. This block declares support for many of WordPress’ core style controls.
